Meghan Markle Criticized for Photo Decision That Reportedly Upset Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has come under scrutiny from insiders following a recent decision that reportedly left her husband, Prince Harry, feeling “unhappy”—just days after the couple celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were married in a grand ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, are once again at the center of media speculation. Meghan’s wedding dress, a custom Givenchy design, famously cost around $265,000 and required 3,900 hours of labor for its intricately embroidered veil. The lavish event marked a historic royal occasion watched by millions around the world.

Now, seven years on, attention has shifted from royal elegance to privacy concerns. According to Page Six, insiders are questioning Meghan’s recent decision to display a selection of never-before-seen family photos—images of herself, Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet—on a public bulletin board.

“If they weren’t [on the photo board], would anyone be interested?” one insider reportedly asked, casting doubt on the significance of the images and their impact.

Another source went further, revealing concerns that Meghan’s choice may have upset Harry, who is known to be extremely protective of their children’s privacy. “Harry is all about protecting his kids, so I can’t imagine he will be happy with this,” the source said.

One particular image on the board appears to have drawn the most attention. Positioned in the far left corner, it shows Prince Archie tenderly kissing Princess Lilibet on the forehead, with a Christmas tree glowing in the background. It’s a rare and intimate moment that contrasts sharply with the couple’s usual approach to shielding their children from public view.

In recent years, Harry and Meghan have taken great care to guard their children’s identities, often releasing only photos in which Archie and Lilibet’s faces are turned away from the camera. Public appearances have been infrequent, and the family is rarely seen in public together.

“The Sussexes have gone to great lengths to protect the kids,” a source emphasized. “They rarely take them out in public places, and it’s just a bit odd that photos are starting to come out now, when they are more recognizable.”

The decision to share more of their private life has left some insiders puzzled, especially given Harry’s well-known stance on maintaining his children’s privacy. Whether this marks a shift in the couple’s media strategy remains unclear—but it has certainly reignited the conversation around their complex relationship with public attention.
