How Meghan Markle Rescued Prince Harry From A Life Of Swiping Right On Tinder

British royal family news shows that everyone knows how happy Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are, they make it a point to always tell the world. But shockingly, royal biographer Sean Smith claims that before the Duchess of Sussex entered the Fresh Prince’s life, he was a washout in the romance department.

In his book, Meghan Misunderstood, Smith claims that before Markle came on the scene and changed Harry’s life forever, he had a hard time finding a partner.

So, why exactly did the Duke of Sussex have trouble scoring dates?

Smith notes that Prince Harry had just a couple of serious relationships B.M. (Before Meghan). The first was with Zimbabwean lawyer Chelsy Davy. That lasted from 2004 until 2010. Davy said how much she disliked the spotlight around Harry: “It was so full-on crazy and scary and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope, she told the Daily Mail. “I was young, I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible. It was nuts. That’s also why I wanted to go back to Africa.”

Then came model and actress Cressida Bonas. They started seeing each other in 2012 but Bonas didn’t like the spotlight either and they broke up in 2014.

According to Smith, “Prince Harry could not get a date. Quite simply, he was the most eligible bachelor in the country — probably the world — so popping up on Tinder to swipe right was not an option. Harry really wanted to meet someone special and settle down. His days of being a teenage tearaway were long gone.”

And then along came Meghan, Duchess of Sussex in 2016 when they were “set up” by a mutual friend. According to the narrative Prince Charming and the former game show Briefcase Girl began dating in and were engaged by 2017.

Royal Family News:

Their wedding happened May 19, 2018, at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Reportedly a clueless Meghan wanted to deodorize the centuries old castle, not realizing that its scent was historic not stinky.

Over 500 guests saw them exchange vows while over 1,000 people took to the streets to see the pair drive off. Interestingly enough Davy and Bonas attended their ex’s nuptials. Maybe they had to see it to believe it?
