The First Lady is speaking to US channel ABC, in a programme to air on Friday called Being Melania.
In questions released to the press so far, Melania Trump is asked about her husband’s alleged infidelity, the state of her marriage and her views on the #MeToo movement.
Melania, 48, who has been married to Donald Trump since 2005, was praised by interviewer Tom Llamas for agreeing to come on.
“You did agree to this interview, to your credit, with no preconditions, knowing there could be some tough questions asked,” he said.
And the interview went into personal territory when she was asked about Donald’s rumoured affairs with porn star Stormy Daniels.
“You’re not the first First Lady to have to deal with your husband’s infidelities, has this put a strain on your marriage?” he asked.
Asking her about the #MeToo movement, he said: “Can women in the #MeToo movement call you a supporter?”
Lastly, Llamas asked Trump’s wife what the biggest misconception about her is.
The two sat down while Melania was on her first solo trip abroad as First Lady to Africa.
Slovenia-born Melania became a permanent US resident back in 2001, becoming a citizen in 2006.
The couple have one son, Barron, 12.
This week, Daily Star Online reported Melania confiscates Donald Trump’s phone when she doesn’t agree with his many Twitter spats.
