‘Bitter and Chilly’ Melania ‘snubs’ Donald Trump for the spa at Mar-a-Lago Florida Resort

Melania Trump, former First Lady of the USA, is said to be spending less and less time with her husband as they relax at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-lago resort after he was booted out of the White House.

Melania has snubbed her husband Donald Trump as the pair relax at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, choosing the spa over spending time with him, according to sources.

The former President of the and First Lady of the United States have only been having dinner together at the resort while she pampers herself and he spends the day on the golf course.

A source described as familiar with Melania’s daily routine told CNN: “She goes to the spa, has lunch, goes to the spa (again) and has dinner with Donald on the patio.

“Rinse and repeat. Every day.”

Divorce rumours swirled after the couple were booted out of the White House last month when President Joe Biden was inaugurated – an event the pair decided to swerve.

A video of the pair arriving in Washington on Air Force One showed the former model walk away as her husband pasted on a smile to wave to the cameras.

The footage came just months after another video emerged showing Melania appearing to pull her hand away from Trump as he tried to clutch it while the pair walked down the steps of Air Force One.

A former White House official told CNN Melania, who shares a 14-year-old son, Barron, with Donald, has been “bitter and chilly” towards her husband for some time.

But while onlookers have speculated for months that Melania is “totally done” with her husband, the couple celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary days after leaving Washington.

In spite of rumours of a frosty relationship, former Trump adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff suggested Melania’s “cold” behaviour is just a distraction.

She insisted the couple are much closer than people think, but their lack of affection in public is to “shine the light over here so you don’t see what’s going on over there.”

Melania’s husband of 16 years is currently facing his second impeachment trial over allegations he incited violence among his supporters, leading to the deadly Capitol invasion on January 6.
