Nicole Kidman Shared Emotional Instagram Of Keith Urban Amid Major ‘Voice’ News: ‘timing of it means that I won’t be able to come back’

Keith Urban is leaving The Voice Australia, and Nicole Kidman is rooting for him. On October 8, the country artist performed in Nashville, Tennessee as part of his “The Speed of Now” world tour.

Keith was joined behind the scenes by his wife after delivering a heartfelt tribute to the late Loretta Lynn. She subsequently shared the wonderful private moment in a candid Instagram photo, after Keith’s revelation that he is leaving The Voice Australia before season 12 to focus on his family and music.

“On tour backstage Nashville, Tennessee 🖤,” Nicole captioned the Instagram snap.

Reacting to the intimate glimpse of the couple, fans immediately took to the comments section to share their thoughts. “Seeing the love and support you give to each other warms my heart,” one person wrote. “Like pieces in a jigsaw. You both just fit. ❤️,” another added. “They are so cute and perfect together. ❤️❤️,” a different fan said.

Keith discussed his several projects with The Sunday Telegraph, including the Australian part of his tour, which was postponed until December 2020, working on a new record for a 2023 release, and celebrating Christmas with loved ones.

“Unfortunately the timing of it means that I won’t be able to come back for this next season of The Voice,” he told the outlet. “My mum just turned 80 and Nic’s mom, who knows how many Christmases we get with anybody ever but particularly with our moms, I really cherish that chance to spend [Christmas] with them and our family in [Australia].”

Keith’s most recent career announcement, however, does not necessarily imply that he is done with the singing competition show. As many people are aware, he left The Voice Australia after season one. The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer returned for seasons 10 and 11.

“I actually don’t think of it as the end of a chapter at all because I love doing the show,” he said. “I feel very close to everybody on the set and hopefully the door can stay open because I would jump back in a heartbeat.”

Meanwhile, Keith is planning the remainder of the year with Nicole and their children Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, as The Voice Australia prepares to discover new talent.
