Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles are, allegedly, facing problems in their marriage.
According to OK! magazine, Prince Charles has been feeling stressed because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shocking allegations. As such, he doesn’t have any time to deal with more problems.
Prince Charles in dire need of Camilla’s support
However, Prince Charles hasn’t been receiving support from his wife, Camilla because their marriage is already on the rocks.
A source for the tabloid alleged that Prince Charles is starting to get irritated because of his wife’s controlling nature. The heir to the throne doesn’t also understand Camilla’s obsession to become a star.
Prince Charles, Camilla leading separate lives
And since they have been living in separate houses throughout the past couple of months, the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall have, allegedly, become more used to being apart.
“Charles is based in Highgrove House full-time. And Camilla is spending weekends and sometimes longer spells of time at her private residence in Wiltshire. But on the occasions that they are together, they clash. And the arguing gets extremely heated after a few cocktails,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that there’s tension between the royal couple because Prince Charles has always been in a mad mood since the Sussexes’ interview.
“Charles has been in a wretched mood ever since this scandal blew up. And to say he’s a tough company at the moment is an understatement. Camilla’s been keeping her distance even more than usual because, quite frankly, he’s like a bear with a sore head,” the source said.
The royal couple’s friends believe in them
Despite all the rumored problems, friends of Prince Charles and Camilla are confident that they can sort out their issues in the near future.
“Camilla has been tirelessly supportive towards Queen Elizabeth these last few weeks as she’s dealt with Prince Philip’s health woes, as well as the fall out from Harry and Meghan’s interview. It means the world to Charles that despite their problems, his wife is still such a dependable and loyal member of the monarchy,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Prince Charles and Camilla aren’t having problems in their marriage.
