Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly told to ‘slow down’ amid their hectic royal events schedule

Prince Harry wrapped up his last royal engagement of the year yesterday before he goes on a six-week long break with his wife and son.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been busy bees since the beginning of this year. While the Duchess of Sussex took things slowly initially due to her pregnancy and the arrival of son Archie, Harry got back on his feet three days after the birth of his son Archie Harrison. Just yesterday, Prince Harry wrapped up his last royal engagement of the year before he goes on a six-week long break with his wife and son. Despite this break, palace aides are reportedly telling the couple to take things slowly.

After giving birth to son Archie, Meghan returned to work in a few weeks and came out with the Vogue edit. She also worked extensively on the Smart Set clothing collection for women and the family of three also undertook their first royal tour to South Africa. From media appearances to numerous engagements, the couple have been working round the clock.

A source recently revealed to the Sunday Telegraph, “The Duchess was working on the Vogue edit and the Smart Set collection and remained very engaged with the office, participating in weekly team meetings. We were saying to her, ‘Wow, this is not what a maternity break looks like, you need to slow down.” Apart from their work, Harry and Meghan also had a big change this year as they moved into their own home at Frogmore Cottage and welcomed their son Archie Harrison.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined hundreds of veterans and their families at the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, to honour and remember those who lost their lives in service of their country. Their Royal Highnesses each planted a Cross of Remembrance, paying respect to those who have served in our Armed Forces. They were then honoured to spend time meeting with veterans and family members from all areas of the Armed forces – from those who have served in past campaigns to more recent conflicts. This is the seventh time The Duke has attended the Field of Remembrance – having previously accompanied The Duke of Edinburgh for several years. The Duchess of Sussex was grateful to be able to join her husband on this important day and to personally recognise those who have served. #remembrance #lestweforget

The source added, “We told her, look there is no rush with the foundation, come on, take a breath.” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will now be proceeding on their much-deserved break and will distribute their time between the UK and US. They are most likely to spend their Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland in the US.
