An insider told the BBC “Following consultation with his doctor, the Duke of Edinburgh is likely to remain in the hospital for observation and rest over the weekend and into next week.”
He added “As we have said previously, the doctor is acting with an abundance of caution. The duke remains in good spirits.”
According to the Honey magazine “Prince Charles visited the hospital to meet his father who is sick and not feeling well and asks about his health.
On Christmas 2020, the duke released a rare public message praising teachers and school staff for their efforts in teaching the nation’s children during the pandemic.
