It comes as he and wife Meghan Markle officially left their lives as senior members of the royal family last month. As part of the change, Harry and Meghan moved to Los Angeles, California, with their son Archie.
The couple recently launched a new charity called Archewell to replace their Sussex Royal brand. On the official paperwork for the company, Prince Harry omitted both his royal title and his surname, Mountbatten- Windsor.
Rather than starting with ‘His Royal Highness’, Harry signed the forms Prince Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex.
Prince Harry is also not using the surname Wales anymore. He used this while he was in school and in the army. Harry’s son, Archie, uses the surname Mountbatten-Windsor as he has no royal title. The big changes in the Duke of Sussex’s life are believed to have left him feeling ‘tremendously isolated’.
Speaking about their move stateside, royal commentator Angela Mollard believes Harry may regret his decision to move to the US.
‘He is someone who is very connected to his family as it is all he has ever known,’ she said. ‘He had his life with his mum Princess Diana and his dad Prince Charles and then he had his life with them separately when they divorced.
