In January, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. The world, especially the palace, was shocked because it seemed there had been no sign that Prince Harry and Markle had plans to quit.
Following their announcement, Jonathan Moran spoke to Sky News Australia’s Rita Panahi to share his thoughts on Prince Harry and Markle stepping down. During his interview, he criticized the couple for making this decision, calling them “weak” and “pathetic.” He also blamed the two of them for the “ugly situation.”
“I think the whole situation is ugly,” Moran said about the whole thing.
“I blame him as well,” he added when asked if he blamed Markle. “I think he is weak. I blame them equally. But I think they are both weak. I think they are pathetic. And they need to harden up and just say ‘hang on, there are millions of people starving out there’. And there is a lot of good we can be doing. From within the royal house, so to speak.”
He also criticized Prince Harry and Markle for turning their backs on their royal duties for privacy but continue to attend star-studded events. According to recent reports, the former “Suits” star is planning to attend the upcoming Met Gala and it irked Moran.
“Meghan is already planning her outfit for the Met Gala, which is so private. I mean, give me strength!” he added.
Prince Harry and Markle are already back in the U.K. They are set to join Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the members of the royal family on Monday for the Commonwealth service. On Thursday, they stepped out together to attend the Endeavour Fund Awards and they were booed by one of their critics.
Several netizens were not surprised. One even thanked the person who booed the royal couple because for them the two are disgusting.
Prince Harry and Markle didn’t let one boo spoiled their outing. The royal couple was very sweet at the remainder of the evening. According to body language expert Judi James they were packing on “honeymoon style” affection at the event.
