Prince Harry Not to Wear the Same Attire As Royal Family

Following the sudden passing of Prince Philip over the weekend, Prince Harry will be flying over to the UK to attend his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh’s, funeral, which will take place on Saturday 17 April.

According to reports, the Duke of Sussex will not to wear military uniform at the funeral of Prince Edinburgh after losing his official honor at Megxit.

As he arrives ahead of the emotional event for the family, Harry’s attendance will be his first royal event since he was stripped of his royal titles earlier this year, which means that his appearance at the funeral will look vastly different to that of his father, Prince Charles, and his brother, Prince William.

In contrast, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and the Earl of Wessex are expected to attend in their own military outfits.

The Queen must choose just 30 people to attend her beloved husband’s funeral, which will take place entirely within the grounds of Windsor on April 17. The initial list – which stretched to around 800 – has been massively cut back as a result of the COVID crisis.

It’s expected the Queen and Duke’s great-grandchildren – including Princess Charlotte and her brothers – will be considered too young to attend.
