Police officers rushed to Gomez's home in Tarzana, California after a family member spotted a guy creeping around on her property and called 911.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) revealed that the police were called at around 9:34 a.m. on Saturday and a 19-year-old man, Jean Daniel Garcia, who hails from Arizona and claimed he was there to see the Selena Gomez in person, was arrested at the scene and booked for allegedly trespassing.

It is not known if Selena was at home at the time of the incident. The 21-year-old brunette beauty had a terrifying encounter with a stalker a few years ago.

Thomas Brodnicki, 46, was ordered to stay away from the singer and actress in 2011 after repeatedly talking about killing her while under psychiatric hold.

He later admitted the former Disney star needed to be protected from him and submitted a sworn declaration stating: "I believe that a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena Gomez. I do not wish to object to the restraining order against me because I know it is the only thing that will make me stay away from Selena."
