For her only concert of 2016, Taylor Swift is going back to her country roots. Ahead of her performance at this weekend’s Formula One United States Grand Prix, the singer has generously offered fans a sneak peek at her rehearsals.
In the first clip, Tay strums on an acoustic guitar, and though there are no vocals, it sounds a hell of a lot like throwback hit “Fifteen.” In the next clip, Taylor picks up the pace by singing her 2012 Red hit “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” alongside a full band and backup singers. So it’s safe to assume we’ll be getting some kind of a career-spanning “greatest hits” medley. Finally, Taylor shared one more behind-the-scenes vid that addresses her fans directly.
Hey guys, can’t wait to see you this weekend in Austin, Texas,” she says, before cracking a joke with the cameraman (she just doesn’t want you to get lost, OK?!). Taylor’s Grand Prix concert hits Austin this Saturday night (October 22), and while it’s still unclear whether she’ll debut any new music (not likely, TBH), anticipation is sky-high. Between this one-off show and the 10th anniversary of her self-titled debut album on Monday, there’s plenty for Swifties to be psyched about.
