After the fall of John Galliano from his own label, Bill Gaytten has been made the new creative director of the house.
The 51-year-old Gaytten has worked with Galliano for 23 years and miss his presence in the house.
"It’s the same job for me; I’ve been doing it for a long time, the menswear show was a bit different because John wasn’t there. I’m dying to know what he thinks!" he said.

However, Gaytten’s official title has not yet been announced, but he has been leading the design team at Galliano and oversaw the men’s collection from conception to catwalk in the recent John Galliano menswear show.
The British-born designer studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College in London, before landing his first job with Victor Edelstein. He went on to work with Galliano at both his eponymous label and at Dior.
