Following the sad incident in our Bicester store last week, Hugo Boss has decided to cancel the London Collections: Men event next week which was due to be held on Monday, June 17, the label’s managing director, Bernd Hake, said. "Everyone at Hugo Boss is devastated by the matter and we feel that it would be inappropriate to host a party so soon after the event."
The child suffered serious head injuries by the store fixture and later died in a nearby hospital. Details regarding the size of the mirror or how it fell are unavailable.
"We would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to his family," a statement from the company read. "All of our thoughts are with them at this time. Hugo Boss will assist the authorities in any way with an investigation into the accident."
