On August 6, the rapper, age 31, will perform a solo set at London’s O2 Arena. This will be one of his first major live performances since 10 people died at his concert festival in 2021, as per Independent.
On Tuesday, Scott posted information about his London concert on Instagram (28 June).
He wrote: “Been in the studio for a while time to take it to [the] bigger speaker. See u soon, London.”
Following the Astroworld event in Houston, Scott will play for the first time in the UK.
10 people, ranging in age from nine to 27, died as a result of injuries during the event as a result of a catastrophic surge in the crowd.
Later, it was revealed that a single case would be filed against Scott and Live Nation for the hundreds of cases connected to the Astroworld catastrophe. Nearly 2,800 alleged victims were represented by 380 separate files.
The lawsuits claim that Astroworld was recklessly planned and staged and that Scott’s performance’s audience swell might have been prevented. The accusations against Scott and the other defendants have all been rejected. Additionally, the rapper has constantly denied knowing how dangerous the situation was when he was performing.View this post on Instagram
