Hence, an interview of the former president was recently removed by two of America’s favorite platforms for calling each other idiots.
As reported by the New York Post, both Instagram and Facebook took down a conversation between POTUS 45 and his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump.
Lara posted the screenshot of an email she received concerning an episode of The Right View With Lara Trump.
The message from Facebook employee “Katelyn” read as follows:
“We are reaching to let you know that we removed content from Lara Trump’s Facebook page that fout eatured President Trump speaking.”
Why was it shown the door?
That’d be because of how it sounds — it features noises emanating from The Donald:
“In line with the block we placed on Donald Trump’s Facebook and Instagram accounts, further content posted in the voice of Donald Trump will be removed and result in additional limitations on the accounts.”

Now that’s what you call a ban.
Apparently, Lara was less than fond of the fact.
She made such clear on Instagram:
“And just like that, we are one step closer to Orwell’s 1984. Wow.”
Trump son Eric added his take, commenting, “This is so horrible — what is our country becoming?!”
Coincidentally or not, the interview at issue included some not-so-complimentary waxing about social media censorship.
The billionaire remarked upon 2020’s laptop/Hunter Biden hubbub:
“When they didn’t show any of that during the campaign — they just cut it out, like, canceled, I guess. You could call it cancel culture, right? To me, that was really the beginning. Because it was bad. It’s been bad for a really long time. It’s been fake for a long time.”
On Tuesday, Lara had teased the interview:
“[I] have quite a surprise for you this evening. Guess who’s gonna be in that chair?”
As it turned out, quite the surprise became a quiet surprise — so quiet, no one on Facebook can hear it.
Meanwhile, Monday saw the launch of Trump’s official post-presidency website, 45office.com.
And as covered by RedState’s Nick Arama last month, the erstwhile Commander-in-Chief referenced the possibility of a new social media site.
However things go, I have a prediction: Where Donald J. Trump’s concerned, it’ll take more than this to keep him quiet.
Apropros, amid the interview, Lara posed, “This is one thing everyone always asks me…people all want to know. And I know you’re not ready to answer it yet, but do we have hope that there’s a possibility to see Donald Trump run again in 2024?
Drum roll, please…
“You do have hope. That I can tell you. You do have hope.”
