For example, we will likely never hear the end of his 2020 presidential election grievances. However, here recently, the ex-president has found another topic to at least momentarily distract him from his “election fraud” woes — he’s big mad about baseball, folks.
More specifically, Trump is super pissed that the MLB (Major League Baseball) recently made the decision to pull out of Georgia for their All-Star Game, following the state’s Jim Crow-style election laws they’ve recently put into motion.
Of course, MLB is a private company and people like Donald Trump think that private companies should be able to do whatever they want unless they’re doing something that people like Donald Trump don’t want them to do; i.e. Goya vs. Dr. Suess. But nevertheless, I digress.
During an interview with Newsmax today, Trump honed in on the baseball debacle yet again, declaring that baseball games are now “not appropriate.”
“A woke group of people — and that’s baseball — and people are tired of it — they decided to hurt the people of Georgia by moving it out and it’s just ridiculous,” the ex-president whined.
He went on to suggest that Conservatives should copy liberals and boycott companies that they have deemed “woke.”
“So should we boycott baseball?” Newsmax host Heather Childers asked.
“Look, I’m just not very interested in baseball for the last number of years,” Trump responded. “I think it’s not appropriate. You want to find a game? It’s on every channel yet you can’t find anything. It’s the weirdest thing. It used to be a nice, easy thing to follow.”
“Today, you don’t even know what the hell you’re watching,” he continued to rant. “I would say boycott baseball, why not? I think what they did was a terrible thing.”
