The Royal Family stepped outside with the rest of the country to take part in the NHS Clap for Carers campaign once again.
William, Kate and their children Prince George, six, Princess Charlotte, four, and their younger brother Prince Louis, who turned two yesterday, stood outside their home to pay tribute to those on the frontline saving lives.
The family all wore blue outfits to honour the NHS, with Kate and Charlotte in blue dresses, William in a blue jumper, while George looked smart in a checked blue shirt and Louis was his adorable self in a navy jumper.
The adorable snaps show the young prince wearing a sweet check shirt, his hands covered in rainbow-coloured paint from painting a picture.
Posting the photos on the official Kensington Royal Instagram account, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge told their 11.6m followers: “Sharing a sneak peek of Prince Louis’s handiwork ahead of his second birthday!
“We are pleased to share images ahead of Prince Louis’s second birthday tomorrow, taken by The Duchess this April.”
Fans can’t get over the cuteness and how much he looks like his big brother George.
“He’s so adorable! Happy birthday Prince Louis!” wrote one.
Another added: “He’s gotten so big! Absolute cutie.”
“He looks just like George,” a third chimed in.
George’s birthday is very close to the Queen’s, who marked her 94th birthday this week also.
Sharing a snap on their official social media channels, Kate and William wrote: “Wishing Her Majesty the Queen a very happy 94th birthday today!”
The touching photo showed the trio enjoying a day out at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2019.
The monarch is self-isolating in Windsor Castle with her husband Prince Phillip, 98, and won’t mark the occasion as she usually does.
She made the decision to cancel her birthday celebrations for the first time ever in her 68-year reign.
A source close to the royals told HELLO! Magazine : “We will not be marking Her Majesty’s birthday in any special way.
“Any calls, video calls etc with family will be private and kept so. There will be no social media posts as per normal.”
