While Prince Harry might be on the verge of a breakthrough with his father, King Charles III, not the same can be said about his relationship with his brother, Prince William.

The pair have been at war since “Megxit.” The battle got more heated with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s decision to drop significant bombshells about the monarchy and the Royal Family via interviews, Netflix series, and the best-selling memoir Spare.

In a sign, this is a never-ending battle, Prince William recently took a public dig at his brother and sister-in-law during a fiery speech.

During King Charles’s coronation week, a massive concert was held in London to celebrate the historic event.

The heir to the throne gave a powerful speech that was supposed to honor his father. Still, many royal observers believe he used the opportunity to deliver a massive blow to Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.

In his emotional remarks, Prince William explained that the late Queen Elizabeth II would be proud of the job King Charles has been doing since inheriting the keys to the kingdom.

The Prince of Wales told the audience: “My father’s first words on entering Westminster Abbey yesterday were a pledge of service. It was a pledge to continue to serve. My father has always understood that people of all faiths, all backgrounds, and all communities, deserve to be celebrated and supported. Pa, we are all so proud of you.”

He concluded by further emphasizing the word service. The future King stated: “I wish I could mention you all. Your service inspires us. And tonight, we celebrate you too. I commit myself to serving you all. King, country, and Commonwealth. God save the King!”

Prince William’s message immediately rang the alarms of many royal observers, who pointed out that it was a direct shot/answer to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In 2021 a war of words broke out between Queen Elizabeth and the Montecito royals. A year after the couple had stepped down from their royal duties, Her Majesty issued a blistering statement claiming that as non-working royals, they could not fully commit to service.

Queen Elizabeth said in part: “…it was not possible for them to officially continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.”

A few hours after being humiliated by the Queen, Prince Harry, and Markle hit back with the statement of the decade.

A spokesperson for the couple hit back with this response: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the U.K. and around the world, and have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of official role. We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”

These digs between the brothers show that they do not believe that reconciliation is universal for them, at least.
