Admittedly, this was a pretty uneventful CMA Awards year, not only in terms of standout moments during the show, but also standout looks on the red carpet. Was everyone just … bored? Uninspired? We’re not sure, but we know the artists we chose for our 2015 Worst Dressed at the CMAs list can do better.
One duo lands in our gallery for being a little too unconventional with their clothes – let the music do the talking, fellas! You’ll also find a talented, but weirdly patterned trio, some couch camo and pop megastar who appeared to have wandered onto the carpet after grocery shopping.

Meghan Linsey
Meghan Linsey is stunning, but this dress was not … unless she was on audition for a Little Mermaid remake. Although she has a great body, this two-toned gown hugged this singer’s curves in all the wrong places.
Brantley Gilbert
If it weren’t for wife Amber (whose white complemented Brantley’s black wonderfully, we might add), this rough-riding singer would be drowning in a sea of blue jean and chains. He toned both back for the CMA Awards, but we’d love to see him lose that ball cap … just once!
Rascal Flatts
Rascal Flatts harmonize like no other, and the guys seemed to figure they should be in sync with their CMA Awards fashion, too. Here’s a tip, guys: no.
Scotty McCreery
They don’t call him Scotty "Couch" McCreery for nothin’. Wait, is that not right? McCreerians, we love your boy, but he should have left grandma’s curtains on the rack. That hair was looking sharp, however. Handsome man he’s growing into!
