Dior & I Premiere in New York

The new documentary “Dior and I” premiered on Tuesday night in New York ahead of a limited release on Friday. Over the course of an hour and a half, a crowd that included Lake Bell, Boyd Holbrook, Sigourney Weaver, Rufus Wainwright and Chanel Iman followed the making of Raf Simons’ first haute couture collection for the venerable French house, with a particular focus on the master tailors and seamstresses who work in its famed atelier.

The early reviews are positive: “I was so moved,” Weaver said. “To meet all those wonderful people making the collection was really a thrill. I think it will show people a different side of fashion.”
