Emilio Pucci hosted the launch of its eyewear collection by Marcolin at the hôtel particulier of the Italian Embassy at 51 Rue de Varenne. Guests were welcomed by candles lining the pathway to a charming courtyard.
Peter Dundas’s favorite girls including Poppy Delevingne, Natasha Poly, Elena Perminova, and Izabel Goulart were all there wearing sparkling Pucci. After cocktails, the group ascended the large marble staircase, which led to the second floor where two exquisite dining rooms were arranged with two large tables covered in a waterfall of flowers in pastel and fuchsia.
Lauren Santo Domingo, Clotilde Courau, Derek Blasberg, Dasha Zhukova, Pierre-Yves Roussel, and others sat for a dinner of squid ravioli with grilled shrimp, sea bass with butternut truffle gnocchi, and a delicious panna cotta with orange marmalade and talk turned to the eyewear collection being toasted: “These glasses can make a woman even more beautiful and mysterious than she already is, they can hide but also show more,” said Maurizio Marcolin. Dundas added: “It’s magic!”
