Paris Fashion Week Front Row

Paris Fashion Week kicked off with a typically star-studded start – seeing Chloe Grace Moretz, Carine Roitfeld, Ashley Olsen and Pixie Geldof all in attendance at the H&M show.

On Thursday, Nadja Swarovski hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the opening of the Paris Haute Couture  exhibition. Guests including Giovanna Battaglia, Olivier Rousteing and design duo Victor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren were all invited to preview the 100 Haute couture dresses on display in the exhibition hall of the Hotel de Ville.

Meanwhile across town that same evening, Karl Lagerfeld celebrated the launch of his concept store in the French capital. He threw a party to celebrate and invited regulars on the fashion week circuit – Leigh Lezark and Arizona Muse.

Taking a break from the recent round of red-carpet affairs Jessica Chastain made appearances at both the Givenchy and Viktor & Rolf shows – with fellow actresses Amanda Seyfried and Marion Cotillard joining her on the front rows. A sophisticated palette of black and white proved to be the most popular of choices with looks from the Christian Dior and Givenchy spring/summer 2013 collections making an appearance. – vogue
