Charles W. Bunstine II recently visited the archives at Maison Lesage, the Paris-based couture embroidery studio owned by Chanel since 2002, and collaborated with Lesage artisans on embroideries for his fall bridal collection.

He also drew inspiration from the cliché moods of Parisian women confident, powerful, sensual which was reflected in a diverse range of gown silhouettes, most of them sleek and body-conscious with architectural seaming in lightweight floral French lace and envers satin. Bunstine’s long-sleeved, high-neck gowns in allover stretch lace hit the right balance between sexy and covered-up.
