Marking her 35th anniversary in business, Carolina Herrera designed a tight collection of seven wedding gowns for fall 2017, each one serving a purpose and embodying the brand’s timeless elegance. Herrera offered something for every bride, from a floaty bohemian column gown with sheer, floral-embroidered flutter sleeves to a more traditional high-neck, long-sleeve trumpet gown in allover Alençon lace. Most princess-y: a weightless tulle and organza ballgown featuring a delicately embellished crystal bodice and tiered layers of peach and blush tulle, perfectly sweet and frothy. The centerpiece 35th anniversary gown, meanwhile a silk faille ballgown with a layered skirt and a sculptural, sweetheart bodice offered the most drama.
