Hermès closes out Paris Fashion Week 2014 with its fall and winter 2014 women's runway collection, presented on Wednesday, the final day of Paris Fashion Week with a quietly elegant show.
Hermès Fall 2014 – Closing mesmerized the viewers when the collection out the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Hermès’ Christophe Lemaire presented a fall-winter 2014 collection with a menswear-inspired slant. The styling, exotic cuts, loose tailoring dominates suits, long coats and slouchy pants in a moody color palette of yellow, orange, grey and brown sparked the ramp with their autumnal season appeal.
Elsewhere, the Hermes woman dons nearly ankle length skirts and dresses in flowing fabrics that keeps with the collection’s theme of a relaxed silhouette. Fur makes an appearance as long vests or luxe trims while leather is embraced in black trenches, dresses and thin belts.
Dresses and skirts were aggressively simple, save for some subtle color-blocking and arty prints, expensive ankle socks worn with rolled down over chunky-heeled sandals. Moreover, jackets, trousers, oversized baggy silhouette along with sober gray pantsuit, not in flannel but rippling broadtail fur! Long, sleeveless shearling with a scarf print silk back spoke to the collection’s more feminine side.
