Fahion designer Hunkemoller presented his catwalk show for Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection in AIFW the collection was inspired by the women fashion.
1940’s Hollywood glamour was on display at the Hunkemoller catwalk show during Amsterdam International Fashion Week. The theme of the fashion show was “It’s a Woman’s World and We Love It” and five different looks from the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection were shown Hollywood Glamour, Hot Cognac, Eccentric Luxury, Mysterious Black and Bronze Beauty.
We saw bras, strings and high waisted knickers in nudes, orange, green, purple, petrol, deep blue and black. Combined with lace, strass-details, bows, feathers and garters they made up for a very feminine and sexy look.
Inspired by Marlene Dietrich and Josephine Baker, vintage lace, floral prints and pastels were the hallmarks of the Hollywood Glamour latest Autumn/Winter Collection while satin pieces in rich shades of cognac and brandy made up the Hot Cognac collection. Dramatic jewel tones of purple and teal accented with fur and feathers defined Eccentric Luxury, and a bandeau bra, satin harem pants and a dressing gown accented with ruffles, velvet and hints of blue made Mysterious Black a little less so.
