Junk Food Vintage NFL Runway show curated by Kristin Cavallari took place at STYLE360 New York Fashion Week. The show began in true NFL style with a remix of the national anthem, followed by a referee announcing kick off into first quarter with a sign and a whistle.
Models then suddenly appeared on the yardline-emblazoned runway in NFL-inspired Junk Food Vintage apparel curated by actress/designer Kristin Cavallari. Starting with NFL uniforms as the base, the runway was transformed into a football stadium bringing the game to life with designs inspired by the fashionista’s chic personal style, while also paying homage to Junk Food as the Original Vintage T-Shirt Company.
Representing the two division and eight conferences, designs included statement shoulder pads with a mid-90’s edge, oversized jersey dresses, vibrant team color blocking, maxi dresses and more. After two lively quarters, the halftime show was one of the main highlights of the event as drummers took the runway by storm. Next up, the final two quarters featured more sporty, fun and trendy runway looks representing the various NFL teams.
Celebrity/VIP attendees included Kristin Cavallari (Fashion Designer/Actress), Suzanne Johnson (wife of New Jets owner Woody Johnson), Philip Bloch (TV Personality & NFL Women’s Apparel Creative Director), Jena Sims (Actress), Baiyu (Recording Artist), Karrueche Tran (model/designer), Justine Skye (recording artist), Tyler Clary (Olympic Swimming Gold Medalist), The Voice’s Avery Wilson, and many more. Music curated by DJ Josh Madden.
