Fashion Label Just Cavalli move on towards the runway in Milan with their Fall 2017 collection

The second collection designed by the brand Just Cavalli’s creative team after the departure of Peter Dundas was rooted in a gothic aesthetic updated with a contemporary twist. Inspired by the looks of Kate Bush and Prince, the lineup with its nocturnal tones and the abundance of soft materials, including velvet, shaved fur and ponyskin had an opulent vibe.

Laced-up motifs gave a sensual feel to minidresses and tops, while cropped jackets and capes had a rigorous military attitude. Ruffles and floral prints introduced feminine accents which softened the rock ‘n’ roll vibe of biker jackets, skintight pants and fitted dresses, all worked in leather.

Flounces, lace and Lurex decors defined the evening range, which included maxidresses, ranging from a delicate pink ruffled style to a number combining polka dot tulle with silk printed with gothic roses.
