A transparent nude sleeveless gown with cleverly placed floral embroidery and a floor-sweeping tulle overskirt was effortlessly elegant.
In their first bridal collection for Marchesa Notte, Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig presented a tight selection of wedding gowns with the same ethereal romance and femininity seen Marchesa’s signature bridal collections. For the Notte sister label, the duo offered a range of silhouettes, from frothy ballgowns with tiered, horsehair skirts to slinky, strapless fit-and-flares most of them in ivory, save for a pair of gowns in soft pink. Chapman and Craig gave the looks texture with decadent floral embroidery, beaded bodices and 3-D floral appliqués, while plunging necklines and open backs added a seductive flair.
