The “Arabian Nomads” collection was followed by Megha Grover’s Spring/Summer collection was based on a set of pure white outfits the latest 2011 collection was showcased on the stunning ramp of Dubai Fashion Week.

Dubai Fashion Week’s third day went from pretty white earlier in the day to naughty black in the closing show. Indian designer Megha Grover’s pristine white collection of dresses, gowns and pantsuits contrasted with her compatriots Falguni and Shane Peacock’s liberal use of black, studs and innovative shoulder pads.

Designer Shrekanth found influences in Arabia in the second show with his free flowing robes featuring Islamic embroidery and artwork.

Futuristic silhouettes merged with classic cuts as the collection displayed a variety of white ensembles ranging from short tube dresses to long gowns and pantsuits ending in jodhpurs. The crisp white collection of 15 outfits was embellished with crystals at the hemlines, sleeve ends as well as pant legs.
