Moschino's Spring/Summer 2011 collection at Milan Fashion Week showed a variety of risk taking styles. The pieces were covered red and blue polka dots and stripes and accessorized with ten-gallon hats, turban scarves, doorknocker earrings & gold mirrored
There were stripes, spots, flowers, gingham checks and colour galore as Moschino got Milan Fashion Week off to a flamboyant start. Moschino showed its Spring/Summer 2011 collection in Milan on Friday morning and the duds were a lil’ bit country…and a lotta bits Michelle. The line looked Wild West saloon girl smack dab in the 80’s. The denim in the collection had high paper bag styled waist-lines and loose silhouettes.
To go along with the fun-loving atmosphere of the contemporary collection, waiters were on hand to serve up prosecco and pizza to guests. The models, in a Sonia Rykiel blew kisses at the crowd when they walked down the runway. The show capped off with the girls joyfully dancing.
Brimming with succulent oranges, pinks, yellows, and greens, the collection was packed with coral detail: coral branch-shaped jewelry, raffia bags embroidered with faux coral and turquoise, quilted handbags finished with shells on the straps, shell belt buckles, oversized sunglasses, and scarves fashioned into headbands. Polka dots, gingham, and pop art blocked designs also made their way down the runway.
