Todd Lynn Men’s RTW Spring 2016

Todd Lynn revisited his adolescence in Canada, where he would buy and repurpose clothes, cutting and altering them to give them new life.

Employing pale colors, leather, transparent metallic mesh and the reverse side of silk jacquards, Lynn showed off his tailoring prowess in blazers for him and her that were patchworked in fine leather and teamed with white wide-leg trousers.

The stiff horsehair canvas layer that is traditionally used to give structure to men’s jackets was repurposed as outside panels, giving the effect of corsetry.

Most of the clothes fastened with black grosgrain ribbon threaded through silver eyelets, including an oversize white leather biker jacket.
