A 2-Month-Old Baby Pulled His Father’s Nose Ring. The Newborn Landed In The ICU After The Man Decided To ‘Inflict Pain Back

Authorities claim that an Indiana man, 19, told police that he had tortured his 2-month-old kid and intended to “inflict misery back” on the infant since the infant had ripped the suspect’s nose ring and was being noisy.

Police started looking into the incident, according to officials, after the infant was recently taken to a hospital in Avon with numerous bruises all over his body and healing cut on top of his head, according to WXIN.

According to WXIN, the infant was taken to Riley Children’s Hospital, where physicians informed the authorities that the child suffered several contusions, a subdural hemorrhage, rib fractures, and leg fractures.

They apparently also discovered evidence of previous subdural hemorrhages. According to court documents, the injuries were not deemed to be medically necessary or unintentional but rather the product of physical abuse.

Police talked with the mother of the kid and the couple’s roommate. The defendant, named as Aaron Evans, reportedly had anger problems and would often get irritated with the infant, according to both the roommate and the mother of the kid, WXIN said.

Evans apparently acknowledged having “serious rage problems” when he talked with the police. Evans admitted to abusing the infant boy many times, including slamming the youngster “harder than he should have” into his car seat and purposefully dumping the child from his arms to the ground, according to WXIN.

Evans said that he had a migraine and wanted the infant to remain quiet while the police questioned him about the child’s abuse. Evans said that the child had tugged his nose ring and that he intended to “inflict agony back” on the child, according to the police.

After being detained, Evans was checked into the Hendricks County jail. According to authorities, he was charged with one count of violence causing severe bodily harm and one case of neglect of a dependent causing serious harm. According to WXIN, the infant is still in serious condition at the Riley Children’s Hospital ICU.
