She is beautiful inside and out, and Eva Longoria was a radiant sight to attend an opening of a children’s hospital on Thursday. The actress knew that a simple but chic ensemble would best fit the inaugural ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of Teleton USA.
The 39-year-old was in San Antonio, Texas and was no doubt thrilled to be able to invite her family – who live in the state – as well as boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston. Eva, a Texas native, arrived in a chic white dress with gathered fabric detailing around her hips and teamed it with nude strappy sandals.
She left her dark locks down and styled in pretty layers while accessorising with a nude clutch and elegant diamond jewelry.
The movie and TV star has been dating media mogul Jose for just over a year and he could be seen standing by Eva’s side in a crisp white shirt and black suit. The actress also had the support of father Enrique Longoria Jr., sister Elizabeth Judina Longoria and mother Ella Eva Mireles at the event, and the family could be seen posing for photos outside of the hospital.
CRIT USA is a non-profit pediatric rehabilitation facility for children who suffer from neuromusculoskeletal disabilities. According to the Teleton website it will ‘enroll 600 patients for treatment annually. Children’s family members will be treated as needed, to ensure families’ ability to learn about and cope with their child’s disability.’
‘I chose to advocate for farmworkers because I eat food. I care about food, how it’s grown and most importantly, who picks it,’ she said, according to News-Press. ‘I still feel like documentaries are the best way to humanize an issue. This was a story that demanded telling,’ she added.
The politically active star Eva has also recently been hitting the campaign trail for Democratic district attorney candidate Nicholas LaHood.
