Katharine McPhee flashes her underwear and midriff in sheer black crop top. She was drumming up publicity for her new drama show Scorpion. But it was Katharine McPhee’s outfit that was setting pulses racing in West Hollywood on Thursday.
The actress and singer went for a racy look in a semi-sheer top and circle skirt that revealed her matching bra and slip underneath. As well as accentuating her ample cleavage, the outfit left a sliver of Katharine’s flat stomach on show.
Aside from some dramatic drop earrings, the 30-year-old kept her accessories to a minimum with white sandals and a miniature aquamarine clutch. Katharine wore her honey highlighted locks in curls and opted for romantic make-up, with a highlighter on her cheeks, pale pink eyeshadow and a matching slick of lipstick.
The Smash star was at a CBS, CW and Showtime Party for the 2014 Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour, which was held at the Pacific Design Center. Katharine was plugging her upcoming show Scorpion, in which she plays one of genius Walter O’Brien’s tech wizard recruits who is hired to solve complex problem.
The series also stars Robert Patrick and Eddie Kaye Thomas, and is scheduled to premiere on CBS on September 22. The cast attended a Q&A earlier in the day in Beverly Hills, to which Katharine wore another crop top and skirt combo, which featured a black, white and blue print. In May the American Idol alum filed for divorce from her husband Nick Cokas. Last October she was pictured kissing married director of Smash Michael Morris, and it was later revealed she had separated from Nick six months earlier. Michael, who has three children, was still with actress wife Mary McCormack at the time, and the couple has stayed together following the scandal.
