Parents panicked when they saw a lump growing on their baby’s neck, ‘doctors were baffled when they discovered the cause’!

Emma and Aaron rushed their 7-month-old baby to the hospital after noticing a lump on her neck and an infection accompanied by a high fever.

The doctors believed it was a swollen gland and sent the baby home after breaking a pimple and drawing marks on her face to monitor the swelling.

But several days later, the parents discovered what appeared to be a string or stick protruding from the infection, which they left alone since the doctors had done nothing about it.

However, when a doctor examined the baby, they found a two-inch feather stuck in her neck and promptly removed it.

The doctors initially thought Mya had an infection causing the lump on her neck, but they were surprised to find the real culprit was a feather lodged under her skin.

They believe that Mya must have swallowed or inhaled the feather, and her body pushed it out through her cheek or throat.

Emma and Aaron suspect that the feather may have come from a down pillow that they had not used for months, which they are now discarding.
