Man’s Incredible 336 Pound Weight Loss Breaks the Internet with Inspiring Results

Are you overweight and looking for motivation to make a change? Cole Prochaska is from South Carolina. He lost an incredible 336 pounds (152 kgs) and shared a picture of himself before and after. His amazing work was quickly praised on the internet, showing that sometimes social media can spread love instead of hate.

Cole’s tweet got a huge number of likes (70,000), comments (5,000), and retweets (nearly 4,000), which is unusual for the internet. One reviewer asked the question everyone was thinking about: “Congratulations! I don’t know what finally made you change your mind.”

Cole told him the truth: “Honestly, it was the end of a seven-year relationship.” I was trying to keep it alive. I didn’t, but instead, I saved myself.” Now, if that doesn’t give you chills, you might want to check your heart.

Cole says that two years ago, he weighed a whopping 600 lbs (270 kgs) before he decided to “take his life back.” Now, he weighs about 225 pounds. To help others get started, he gave them a three-step plan: “Focus only on things you can control, join a gym, and work your way up to at least 10,000 steps a day.” So, why don’t you just do it? Put on your shoes and start moving to make yourself better.

Prochaska wants to change the way he looks, so he is thinking about getting body-shaping surgery. In this type of surgery, any loose skin or extra fat is cut away, and the shape and tone of the inner tissue are improved. It’s usually done in steps, so it can take a long time – sometimes months or even years – to finish.

It doesn’t come cheap either. According to the 2020 Plastic Surgery Statistics Report, these kinds of treatments can cost anywhere from $4,000 to $15,000. But even though it’s expensive, body-shaping surgery is becoming more and more common. Nearly a quarter of a million more cosmetic treatments were done in 2018 than the year before.

Prochaska wants to get the surgery done as soon as possible. If his insurance doesn’t cover the cost, he’s even thinking about starting a GoFundMe page to help raise the money. He told his fans, “Yes, surgery is the next step. I hope that my insurance will cover the cost. GoFundMe might be my next choice if that doesn’t work. Thank you for the nice things you said.”
