Someone please tell me why more men don’t take advantage of making you automatically charming? Scarves are like dress shirts – every man can look first-class in one. So why don’t y’all wear them more frequently? Even if you live somewhere warm, there will be at least one prospect for you to wear one during the year! Some men wear them on a regular basis, but many men, not so much. The fact is scarves make you look fine. In fact, the right scarf can make the average man twice as chic. The trick is wearing the right kind of scarf – because all scarves don’t have the charming factor.
Scarves which make you look charming:
1. Long is good for scarves in winter– if it’s too short you won’t be able to wrap it, and that’s what makes you look more charming.
2. Get something with a bit of bulk; you don’t want something that looks like a roll of toilet paper around your neck.
3. A colorful scarf can really be charming on men. That said you don’t need to have every color in the rainbow represented. Two three colors in a scarf look nice.
4. Generally, a loose, fat knot just under the chin looks great. Otherwise, a firm knot that’s been wound several times can also look good, and can be worn at the chin or a bit further down.
5. If you’re wearing a jacket with lapels, a draped scarf should go below the lapels. If you’ve tied the scarf, they tend to look best tucked into the jacket, with a nice fat knot resting beneath the chin. If your scarf is a bit undersized, these look best tucked in, as well.
