Shameless paramedic filmed stealing £60 from woman, 94, moments after she collapsed and DIED

In June of last year, Mark Titley, 58, was one of four medical professionals sent to the elderly woman’s house in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in response to allegations that she had passed out in the yard.

The smug paramedic can be seen entering the elderly woman’s living room and searching through her possessions before stealing £60 from her side table. The 58-year-old immediately returned the money after realizing he had been recorded on tape.

But, the victim’s son saw what the perpetrator had done and informed West Mercia Police. The lady was treated by paramedics for around 20 minutes before she was declared dead on the spot.

According to DailyMail, Titley entered the premises in search of a “do not resuscitate” document. Shrewsbury Crown Court heard this testimony. But, the camera captures him rifling through a plastic money box and stuffing around £60 into his trouser pocket.

After seeing the film of Titley, the victim’s son reportedly felt “disgusted” and “sick to my stomach,” according to testimony given in court. According to The Sun, Titley originally refuted the claim, stating he planned to “protect” the money and give it to his family.

Later, after pleading guilty to stealing, he received an 18-week jail term with a 12-month suspension. Titley was also mandated to pay £530 in costs and pay a victim surcharge of £187 in addition to 120 hours of unpaid labor.

The West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic Titley, who resides on Linley Avenue in Pontesbury, told the court that he had retired and was no longer working as a paramedic.
According to Nathan Hudson, the assistant chief ambulance officer, “Our team would be appalled if one of their former colleagues would do anything like this.”

When we enter someone’s house, we have a position of trust, and these kinds of behaviors legitimately damage all of our reputations, which is profoundly disappointing and makes it tougher for employees who are still working. We appreciate that the matter was brought up in court and handled via the criminal justice system.
