It was way back in the year 2009 that Kanye West intefered with Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The interference caused an uproar and became hot news that very instant getting attention of virtually everyone including President Barack Obama. And the President did not hesitate to refer to Kayne West as a jackass. What further surprised all was the reaction of Kayne himself. It was at the first concert that he categorised it "the beginning of the end of my life." West had just performed his Rihanna-featuring TLOP track "Famous" and credited the song for breaking his writer’s block "because it’s something that I wanted to say so bad that they told me I couldn’t say."
No doubt as a consequence to what happened that evening ,the whole picture became smurred and even the great Lady Gaga went to the extent of canceling their co-headlining Fame Kills Tour. This was noted by kayne West too and he responded by saying , "When I just said what everybody else was thinking." He further clarified and emphasised the significance of the song by feeling good about the loud cheers from the audience and not hesitating to perform again. At that moment he further said "So if I get in trouble for saying the truth, what’s being said the rest of the time?" He did not stop there and added "And I had to fight every day for the rest of my life with the whole world turned against me for saying out loud what everyone else felt. But that’s how a true artist reacts and responds. He does not restrain himself for the sake of finances or perception and it is only truth that is the guideline.
