Surgeon Christina Choy performed the operation at the King Edward VII Hospital in London, while plastic surgeon Stuart James conducted the complex reconstructive surgery, according to confirmation from PEOPLE.

Following the surgery, Ferguson, 63, is currently recuperating at Royal Lodge in Windsor, her residence shared with her former husband, Prince Andrew.
