A friend of Fergie, Daphne Barak, expressed admiration for the Duchess’s bravery in an interview with the Mail on Sunday. Barak questioned why such a kind and loving friend would have to endure such a challenge.

During a recent episode of her podcast Tea Talks With The Duchess and Sarah, recorded the day before her surgery, Ferguson emphasized the importance of regular check-ups and urged everyone to prioritize their health. She plans to regain her strength and fitness while raising awareness about the significance of screenings for various health issues, not limited to breast cancer.

When news of Fergie’s hospitalization surfaced, her representative assured PEOPLE that she was receiving excellent medical care and had a positive prognosis. Currently, she is recovering alongside her family, and she expressed immense gratitude to the medical staff who provided support during her recent days in the hospital.
