Spring Bridal 2016 Collection by Fashion Designer Marchesa

Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig upped the attention to detail in their ethereal spring bridal collection, showcasing intricate threadwork on layers of tulle and silk faille, crystal-embroidered necklines and metallic floral beading throughout. Blossoms appeared on several of the looks via cascading floral appliqués, some made from feathers.

Ballgowns and fishtail shapes dominated the lineup, and Craig said the designers lowered the backs a few featured sheer illusion details or cutouts to emphasize a sexier silhouette this season. For a bride who prefers less embellishment, a floral-embroidered, off-the-shoulder silk-faille ballgown with pockets felt fresh and modern. “We’re a romantic brand,” Chapman said. “This is what we love doing.”
