April Aromatics have created a Limited edition Rose perfume for San Fransisco perfume blogger Tama Blough, who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Basenotes forum member Rogalal says ”She’s a great friend and the founder of the SF Sniff, as well as the co-host and co-organizer of previous San Francisco Basenotes Member Meet-Ups. She’s a managing editor at Cafleurbon, has helped out with organization of the Artisan Fragrance Salons, and is, in my opinion, California’s reigning queen of perfume fans, bringing together collectors and fanatics with both emerging and big-time perfumers."
To support Tama financially on her journey, April Aromatics has teamed up with perfume blog: Michelyn Camen of Cafleurebon and has created a rose perfume in honor of Tama.(Tama used to be a managing editor of Cafleurebon). *Rose is Tama’s favorite flower. 100% of the proceeds will go directly into Tama’s account to support her with paying medical bills, rental living expenses for her and Buster, her cat.
There will be about 200 limited editions available. Each box is signed and numbered by myself. I will give 100% of the profit to Tama. I am trying to keep the price as low as I possibly can. Since there are no distributor, agents or shops involved that will earn from it. Thank you for your support in buying this perfume. Tama will thank you with all her heart.
The fragrance contains ingredients of Rose Otto from Turkey, Rose absolute from Bulgaria, Orris Root from France, Hibiscus Seed from Ecuador, Tonka Bean from Brazil, Sandalwood from India, Patchouli from Sumatra and a touch of Oud from Saudia Arabia.
Bochnig says it is “Made in Berlin, Germany with the purest, natural ingredients and the highest intention. It contains an essence from almost every part of the world. The perfume is infused with Herkimer diamond and Rose Quarz for its healing quality of feeling unconditional love.”
