Nose piercing is fun. Especially when there are so omany options to choose from.

Ring

A tiny captive or fixed bead ring which can either be made of silver or gold is very popular for nose piercing. It is usually recommended for starter jewelry until the initial healing period is over. A ring makes it easy to clean the piercing thoroughly and it allows room for any swelling.

Screw

A nostril screw is a style of jewelry from India. It has gained popularity in Western piercing with time. It has a short post which then screws into a small curl. This curl comes at the back. It keeps the pin from dropping out and holds the jewelry in place.

Bones/Pins/Studs

This is a small post-style piece of jewelry. It has a small bead or decoration that rests on the outside of the nostril. Sometimes it is just a straight post and sometimes the inside end terminates with a larger bead on the outside.

U-Bend

U-bend is a jewelry piece that can just be used for septum piercing. It is a small "U" shaped piece. It can be worn with the ends flipped up inside the nostrils. Hence, making the piercing undetectable. This is the only type of nose piercing jewelry that can be entirely invisible.

Spikes

This is another jewelry option available for the septum style only. It can be sometimes used in bridge piercing. It is a straight taper worn horizontally through the piercing, with pointed ends.
