Hollywood loves a comeback story. On Tuesday, the Golden Globes 2023 returned to NBC after the network refused to air the show last year, citing the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's need for “meaningful reform” following diversity failures, racism allegations, professionalism complaints, and public embarrassment.
That means the last Golden Globes broadcast was back in 2021 when winners largely accepted their awards remotely, delivering their acceptance speeches from behind computer screens during a virtual ceremony. Still, red-carpet-worthy fashion remained with many celebs using the opportunity to show off stunning looks from the comfort of home.
This year, the Golden Globes 2023—the 80th iteration of the ceremony—returned to the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, and with it, a homecoming for glamour, and all the showstopping red-carpet moments that keep viewers talking long after the show has aired.
With Ana de Armas, Viola Davis, and Michelle Williams all competing to win best actress in a drama and Angela Bassett, Kerry Condon, and Jamie Lee Curtis going up against each other for best supporting actress, the evening was celebrated with indelible looks.
