Kim Kardashian Still Wants To Get Married After Pete Davidson Breakup: Reports

Kim Kardashian is reportedly still looking for a long-term partner following her split with Pete Davidson.

An anonymous insider informed Us Weekly that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum still wants to get married after the news of Kardashian and Davidson’s split emerged.

“Kim wants to get married again and Pete wants to have kids — none of that has changed,” the insider claimed. “It just wasn’t meant for it to be with each other.”

Kardashian and Davidson first met when she made her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut in October 2021. The Skims mogul’s relationship with the comedian was her first in the limelight after her divorce from her ex-husband Kanye West in February of last year.

However, after dating for nine months, Kardashian and Davidson took the decision to split up amicably last week.

“There truly wasn’t drama between them when they decided to separate,” another source told Us Weekly. “It was something they talked through; it wasn’t a sudden breakup. They each have busy schedules and the distance made it hard. Kim travels a ton and it was hard for Pete to keep up, especially with his filming schedule.”

The source added, “They had a lot of fun together and they can look back with fond memories.”

The age difference between the 41-year-old reality star and the 28-year-old comedian, in addition to their hectic schedules, is said to have contributed to their separation. An insider told Page Six that they were “just in different places at the moment.”

“Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice,” the unnamed source told the outlet. “But Kim has four kids, and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”

Davidson met Kardashian’s four children with West — North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, during their nine-month relationship. Last month, the actor made it known that he also wants to have children of his own.

“[I’m] definitely a family guy,” he told Kevin Hart on “Hart to Heart.” “My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, I wanna have a kid. That’s like my dream.”

In the meantime, West wasted no time in making fun of Davidson on social media after learning of the actor’s split with Kardashian.

The “Donda” singer posted a fake New York Times front page on Instagram with the headline, “Skete Davidson Dead at Age 28.” It had a subheadline that made fun of Kid Cudi, whose feud with the “Gold Digger” rapper was sparked by Davidson’s friendship with the rapper.

“Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers,” the subheadline read, referencing Cudi storming off the stage at last month’s Rolling Loud festival after fans threw objects at him.

The “King of Staten Island” star has been in trauma therapy since April due to West’s online harassment, People reported this week.

“The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he’s had to seek out help,” an anonymous source told the outlet.

However, Davidson had no regrets about dating the “Kardashians” star, who had “been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship,” according to the insider.
