Previous recipients of the accolade include Vivienne Westwood, Lord Sebastian Coe and Mario Testino.

"This year’s Walpole award winners represent some of the most talented organisations from across the luxury industry and we are delighted to recognise their exceptional achievements," said Walpole CEO Julia Carrick. "It has been an extraordinary year for Britain and this year’s Olympic and Paralympics games was a demonstration of British talent at its very best.  With this in mind, we are delighted to award two truly inspirational individuals, Katherine Grainger and Jonnie Peacock, with special Walpole Medals of Excellence in recognition of their outstanding sporting success."
