Nicolas Ghesquière and Michael Burke Celebrate an Exhibit Showcasing the Inspiration Behind the Louis Vuitton Spring 2015 Collection.

On Thursday evening, Louis Vuitton chairman and CEO Michael Burke opened the exhibition, “Series 2 Past, Present and Future” at 1135 North Highland Avenue in Los Angeles. The brand’s artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière, arrived at the unveiling with French screen legends and fashion muses Catherine Deneuve and Charlotte Gainsbourg on his arm.

The exhibition is laid out so that viewers can experience the LV brand in various environments think 3-D projections, mirrors, photo-collages, and videos, which bring to life a behind-the-scenes look at the brand.

Model Liu Wen took videos of the life-size wall decals of models prepping backstage, while Oscar-nominee Rosamund Pike just took it all in, remarking on how much she liked that portion of the exhibit. When asked who made her dress, she didn’t miss a beat, and quickly replied “Louis Vuitton,” a look that appeared to have walked straight off the runway, and in the exhibition’s “backstage” area it felt like it really could have right then and there.
